    State police say a bus has rolled over on the Northway in the Adirondacks.
    Officials say a Canadian tour bus carrying more than 50 people has rolled over on the Northway in the Adirondacks, killing one and injuring others. New York state police spokeswoman Darcy Wells says the bus rolled over Friday morning between exits 29 and 30 in Essex County.The tour operator says the bus traveling from Quebec City to New York City.

    Dozens of emergency responders were on the scene of a bus into a construction scaffold in midtown Manhattan. It is not clear why the bus slammed into the scaffold at W. 41 st. between 9th and 10th Avenues. SkyFoxHD was overhead where firefighters could be seen on top of the bus. W. 41st Street was closed between 9th and 10th Avenues. There was only one confirmed injury and it was believed to be minor.

    The unions representing workers for the Long Island Rail Road are set to strike beginning at 12:01 a.m. on Sunday. On Friday, Mayor Bill de Blasio and his wife and children will head to Italy on a 10-day vacation. While the time off had been in the works for the First Family of New York City for some time, it was not clear until Monday that the LIRR would essentially be shut down due to striking workers. De Blasio says he's going overseas anyway.
