Mark Ockerbloom anchors FOX25 News at 10 & 11 as well as FOX25 News at 6. Previously, Mark served as weekend news anchor and reporter. He joined FOX25 in 2004 as the weekend sports anchor and reporter.

Mark is a native of Winchester, Mass. Growing up in a newspaper family, Mark has always been intrigued by current events. It’s a dream come true for Mark to be anchoring the news and sharing his opinions with viewers through myfoxboston.com and social networking sites. His depth of knowledge about the Boston area adds a unique perspective to his anchor duties.

Recent major stories Mark has covered include the historic presidential election of 2008, the country's worst recession in a generation, and the death of Massachusetts senator Ted Kennedy. In 2010, Mark received a Boston/New England Emmy for Best Anchor.

Before coming to FOX25, Mark anchored an evening sportscast and co-hosted a nightly sports show at NECN. Prior to returning home to New England, Mark worked at KOCO-TV in Oklahoma City where he was named Oklahoma's Sportscaster of the Year. Mark got his start as a TV sportscaster at WMUR-TV in Manchester, New Hampshire. He has received broadcasting awards from the Associated Press and The Society of Professional Journalists.

Mark is a Providence College graduate and is an active supporter of ABCD, Action for Boston Community Development, The Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, The Franciscan Children's Hospital, and Relay For Life. He is also involved with the Pan Mass Challenge in honor of his older brother Carl who lost his battle with cancer in 2004.

Mark enjoys coaching and playing hockey, golf and softball. An avid runner, Mark ran the 2002 Boston Marathon with his brother Carl, a memory he cherishes to this day. He and his wife Marysia live in the Boston area with their three daughters Allison, Juliana and Alena.
