Sharman Sacchetti joined FOX25 in 2005 as a general assignment reporter. She was raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts and started her broadcast career at WCCM-AM Radio in Lawrence covering politics and breaking news. After working at several tv stations around the country, Sharman is thrilled to be back in Boston covering the people and places she knows best.

Sharman is an award-winning journalist who loves her job! She may be on the frontlines of breaking news one moment, or filing an eye-opening, in-depth story the next. Her Emmy nominated 2005 feature on ‘Girl Gangs’ was a compelling glimpse of gang life and the struggle to get out as told by two young girls.

Sharman got her first shot at tv news reporting at WETM-TV/WBGH-TV in Elmira-Corning-Binghamton. Working in a small market proved to be a great move for Sharman, giving her experience as a writer, producer, reporter and anchor. With experience at several New England broadcast outlets, she became a reporter and morning show anchor at WTEN-TV in Albany New York. While in New York, she covered the September 11th Attacks, Hillary Rodham Clinton’s run for Senate, and the trial of four officers acquitted in the deadly shooting of Amadou Diallo.

Sharman is a graduate of Emerson College with a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communications and a concentration in broadcast journalism. Sharman lives in the greater Boston area with her husband.
