Needham's Zack Weinstein appears on Glee

BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - This week's Glee featured some local flavor as Needham's Zack Weinstein appeared on the show.

Zack appeared on this week's episode of Glee as an ex-football player who teaches Rachel that despite losing her voice, she can still be her best.  The lesson hits close to home for Weinstein, who became paralyzed after a boating accident.

The 24-year-old suffered total paralysis after the accident, but has since regained total movement in his arms after extensive therapy.

Zack Weinstein was a sophomore at Skidmore College at the time of the accident.  After his rehab he returned to college and continued to work towards his dream of becoming an actor.
