Beer pong linked to swine flu

FOX25, myfoxboston - College students are being warned to bring their own cups to the beer pong tournament.

Drinking games on campuses around the area are being blamed for an influx of the H1N1 virus among college students.

Officials at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y., say more than a dozen students are sick with the swine flu.

And while the number of total cases appears to be low, officials at RPI say their caseload is steadily growing and that the origins of the cases that exist have been linked to weekend football games and parties.

A handful of cases were linked to drinking games held at an RPI fraternity house.

Administrators are asking students not to share cups or other utensils. And don't be confused, alcohol can't keep you from getting sick.
