It has been confirmed by the Superintendent’s office that two students at LaLiberte Elementary School at 77 Pleasant Street in Raynham, MA have swine flu.

A teacher at the school also went home with flu-like symptoms while several other students are being looked at as possible flu victims.

Principal Dennis Bray told parents the school nurse was keeping an eye on all student and staff.  Officials asked parents to keep their children home from school if they have flu like symptoms.

Superintendent Jacqueline Forbes also confirmed isolated cases of probable swine flu in several other schools in the district.

Forbes plans to monitor the cases of the disease and report all findings to the state Department of Public Health.
