FOX25, myfoxboston - The belief is Boston is now Hollywood East. Filmmakers are flocking to the Bay State to take advantage of tax incentives the state rolled out a few years ago.

While it has worked to bring film projects to the Commonwealth, the state hasn't exactly reaped a financial reward. It’s far from it, in fact.

In a report released Friday by the Department of Revenue, it turns out the state is only getting 16 cents for every dollar spent on movie incentives.

Peter Enrich, professor of law for Northeastern University, and fiscal advisor to state and local governments, recently joined the FOX25 Morning News to break down what's happening.
