America's Greenest School winner announced!

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Last week, on Earth Day, the FOX25 Morning News introduced you to students from the South Shore Charter Public School in Norwell, who are doing some great green things at their school.

They brought their veggie van to FOX25 and told us about some of their environmental initiatives.

A couple of months ago, they entered their video in the “America's Greenest School” contest and were picked as a top ten finalist.

This morning, Ashley Thurmon, a representative from the contest was at the school to announce that they have won the contest. Check out the video for more.
