Free financial aid advice

FOX25, myfoxboston - The world of college financial aid can be overwhelming, and for many parents, paying for higher education is getting a lot harder thanks to job loss and pay cuts.

But there is a free program here in Massachusetts that can give you some one-on-one advice.

Catherine Nelson, assistant director of financial aid at Brandeis University, explains what College Goal Sunday is all about.

What to Bring With You:
- FAFSA pin
- 2009 federal tax return
- Social Security #
- Driver's license
- 2009 W-2 forms or year-end pay stubs
- 2009 untaxed income records
- Current bank statements
- 2009 business and investment records
- Your alien registration card (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
(bring 2008 if 2009 not available)
