HIV & AIDS update: Is this treatable?

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - This week marks 20 years since the sports world was shocked by news that Magic Johnson has HIV.

At the time he made the announcement, many believed it was a death sentence. Twenty years later, he is healthy and thriving. What does that say about where we are in curing this disease?

Dr. Ken Freedberg a member of the MGH Infectious Disease Unit and director of the Program in HIV Outcomes Research, recently joined the FOX 25 Morning News to talk more about where the nation and world stand in the fight against AIDS.
