Robot helps performs surgery in Boston

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - The advancements in technology in the medical field have been truly amazing and a lot of those advancements have been made right here in Boston.

The latest ground-breaking medical gain happened at the Boston Medical Center, where a robot helped doctors perform a first-of-its kind surgery in New England.

This morning, Doctor Hiran Fernando from Boston Medical Center and his patient, Leah Winthrop, discussed the surgery on the Fox 25 Morning News.
