MALDEN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police say three people were shot early this morning during an attempted robbery in Malden.
Three men were involved and at least one person is dead. Police say another one of the victims probably will not survive.
Police responded to 227 Salem St. shortly after midnight for reports of several shots fired. When the arrived at the scene, police say they found two intrduders laying on the side of the house. They found one of the residents behind his home suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. That man is licensed to own a gun.
Police say they don’t believe the victims knew each other. No names have been released, but said as many as 10 or 11 shots were fired.
The incident remains under investigation.
