Suspects in club shooting head to court

LAWRENCE (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Two suspects in a shooting at a Lawrence club that left one person dead and three others injured are set to face a judge.

Police say 30-year-old Johan Saint Clair and 27-year-old Fernando Guerrero, both of Lawrence, are scheduled to be arraigned on murder charges in Lawrence District Court.

Chief John Romero said the shooting began at La Guira restaurant at 12:45 a.m. Monday, killing one man and injuring a man and a woman. A waitress hit in the leg was taken to a local hospital with injuries not considered life threatening.

He says one of the women struck is not expected to survive. No names were made public.

The suspects were arrested in Lowell shortly after the shooting.

Romero the motive was under investigation.
