PELHAM, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Police used a taser to arrest a man accused of driving drunk in Pelham, N.H.
Timothy Cathcart of Brookline, N.H., is charged with Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Drugs, a Second offense of Driving Under the Influence, Disobeying an Officer, Reckless Conduct, Open Container and Conduct After an Accident.
Pelham police responded to the area of Mammoth Road just after midnight yesterday for a report of a possible impaired driver in a light colored SUV. As the officer’s were checking the area, they received another call advising that a vehicle had hit a stone wall in the area of Mammoth Road and Lane Road.
The vehicle reportedly left the scene of the accident and was traveling northbound on Mammoth Road. Officers responded to the area and noticed fresh drag marks in the pavement.
Officer Gioia was able to follow the marks northbound on Mammoth Road. Ofc. Gioia was able to locate the vehicle in Londonderry, New Hampshire.
