NASHUA, N.H. (FOX 25 / myfoxboston.com) - A man has been charged after he unsuccessfully escaped from a sheriff’s custody.
Torrin Radcliffe, 22, of Manchester, was ordered into the custody of the sheriff at Hillsborough County Superior Court on Monday morning. In an attempt to escape, Radcliffe assaulted a deputy sheriff and fled court.
He was recovered a short time later and taken into custody.
Radcliffe has been charged with escape and assault by prisoners, both felonies. He can face up to 15 years in prison for the first charge and 7 years for the second.
The suspect has refused bail and is being held at the Nashua Police Department pending arraignment.
