Residents in Manchester got a scare late Thursday night when they found an alleged burglar inside of a bedroom in their home.
The Pine Street residents heard strange noises coming from their 24-year-old daughter’s bedroom, who was not home at the time. They went to investigate and found a man inside.
The father tried to detain the man while the mother called 911.
The suspect escaped out the window, but police said he left several things behind that helped police identify him.
Michael Noyer, 45, who lives on the same street as where the burglary took place, was later arrested and charged with burglary, possession of burglary tools, felony possession of a dangerous weapon, unlawful possession of a prescription drug, falsifying physical evidence and resisting arrest.
He is being held on $10,000.
