DOVER, N.H. - A 47-year-old man was arrested and charged after a witness allegedly saw him masturbating in the woods near middle school cheerleader tryouts in Dover, N.H.
Police were called to Dover Middle School at about 7 p.m. on Tuesday after a janitor saw the man in the woods.
Police found the suspect, Roy A. Chapman Junior, hiding in the woods.
After he was arrested, a small amount of marijuana was found in his car, police said.
Chapman was charged with felony indecent exposure and lewdness and possession of controlled drug.
He is being held on $2,500 cash bail. He was arraigned in Dover District Court on Wednesday.
