Police make arrest in home invasion

CONCORD, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) -  A 19-year-old was arrested yesterday in connection with a home invasion in Concord, N.H.

Zachary Snyder, of Canterbury, N.H., was taken into custody and charged with Burglary; Attempted Armed Robbery; Carrying a Loaded Handgun without a License; and Resisting Arrest.

Police say the home invasion happened at 2 North State St at around 9:14 pm. Snyder allegedly entered the residence and confronted the resident. The suspect displayed a handgun in his waistband to the victim and demanded money.

The suspect fled the residence after the confrontation without obtaining money from the victim. The suspect was known to the victim through an acquaintance. The resident was not injured.

Snyder was arrested at his girlfriend’s residence on Green Street at about 10 p.m. and the firearm was recovered.

Snyder was held on $250,000.00 cash bail and will be arraigned today in Concord District Court.
