Teen arrested for dispensing controlled drug

MERRIMACK, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston) - A teen from Nashua, N.H., was arrested and charged with one count of dispensing a controlled drug, Adderall. This offense is a Felony.

Merrimack Police were called yesterday to the Brentwood School for a report of drug activity. After an investigation, it was discovered that a student, Melquan Lord, had asked another student for a cigarette. That this other student (A Juvenile) wanted payment for the cigarette and Lord gave an Adderall pill as payment for this cigarette.

An arrest warrant was issued for Lord. The 18-year-old was arrested and turned over to Merrimack Officers who took him to the Merrimack Police Department, where he was booked and later released on $2,000.00 personal recognizance Bail. He is scheduled for arraignment Sept. 7 in Merrimack District Court.

Police say the juvenile who was in possession of the Adderall pill will be charged at a later date by Juvenile Petition for possession of a controlled drug.
