Two men were shot in Stoughton while trying to sell pit bull puppies out of their home on Wednesday, police said.
Eduardo Fontes, 22, of Plymouth, John Centeio Silva, 19, of Brockton and Vanderlee Fernandes, 23, of Brockton, were charged with armed robbery, possession of a firearm without a license, discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a dwelling, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, assault with intent to murder and receiving stolen property and conspiracy to commit a crime.
A witness gave police a description of the suspects’ vehicle and they were arrested in Brockton shortly after the shooting. The two puppies were also recovered in the car. They were unharmed.
The 29-year-old and 23-year-old victims were taken to Good Samaritan Medical Center and are recovering.
Police did not release their identities.
