ROCKPORT, Mass. - The Coast Guard is on the lookout for a 32-foot sailboat stolen from Rockport Harbor earlier this week.
The owner, James Tew, told the Gloucester Times he left the keys inside of the boat, “Juno,” on Wednesday, and it was gone the next morning.
He got a call from friends who noticed his boat was not in its usual spot near the Sandy Bay Yacht Club. The boat is believed to have been stolen some time after 2 a.m. Thursday morning.
The 1968 boat is worth up to $25,000.
The boat doesn’t have sails on it, so whoever stole it is motoring.
