Several Boston residents are taking a break from their car. They say it will pad their budgets and help the environment at the same time.
It’s a month-long experiment where 30 volunteers will go 30 days without their rides. The city of Boston is behind it, along with car-rental company ZipCar.
The goal is to show people how easy and inexpensive it can be to ditch their cars.
FOX25’s Jim Armstrong says it’s easy for the city dwellers to drop the automobile, but for the suburbanites it’s not so easy.
