76-year old woman arrested on JetBlue flight

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A 76-year old Chestnut Hill woman was arrested for assault and disrupting a flight after she allegedly knocked over a beverage cart and a flight attendant while the plane was in mid-air.

Renee Rappaport was arrested after being removed from a JetBlue flight that was returning from Florida.

Upon landing at Logan Airport, Rappaport was escorted off the plane by the pilots and six State Troopers.

Rappaport claims she was just trying to get back to her seat at the time of the incident.
