DRACUT (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - We’re used to seeing “deer crossing” signs all over the roads, but Dracut may want to consider a “turkey crossing” sign after one of them smashed into the windshield of a Jeep this week.
Rich Newman was driving to work when he saw a dark object and heard a crash.
He looked up and saw feathers stuck in his windshield.
“I’m getting a lot of turkey jokes at work now,” he said.
There was one winner in this story: Newman’s neighbor cooked the bird.
