Car slams into American Legion building

SOMERSWORTH, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston) - The driver of a car that slammed into an American Legion Hall building in Somersworth on Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened on Maple Street just after 2:30 p.m.

The driver was reportedly a grandfather who had his 4-year-old granddaughter in the backseat at the time of the crash.

The circumstances of the crash are still under investigation.
