PLYMOUTH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - An female driver crashed her car into a Plymouth store this morning.

Police say the 64-year-old unidentified operator was parked in a handicap parking space around 8:30 this morning when she apparently had her Toyota Corolla in reverse and hit the gas pedal, causing her to crash into Lukes Liquors store at 736 State Road in Plymouth. The driver was taken to Jordan Hospital and is expected to be OK.

The building sustained substantial damage as the vehicle went through a side wall.

The driver had an expired drivers license, but police wouldn't say for how long. They say the driver forgot to renew it. She may face a civil infraction. No criminal charges will be filed.

The crash is under investigation.
