BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Imagine shopping at the mall and then out of nowhere you become part of a wedding. It happened to some shoppers in Boston. The flash mob nuptials are now burning up the web.
“We think that life and weddings should be fun so the whole idea was to bring our friends together and share a wacky fun moment together,” said Jon Kleiman, the groom of the wedding.
They certainly accomplished that with a flash mob wedding in the middle of the Prudential Center complete with a choir, the groom on piano and a sweet little flower girl.
The 60 guests who showed up were required to learn some pretty unique dance moves right before the big moment.
The entire ceremony took minutes - just about as long as it took for the couple to fall in love and tie the knot.
Jon and Caroline met in Rwanda, both were teaching there. On the first date she said to Jon: “You should probably just propose to me.”
And he did within an instant with a homemade paper ring. That was in May 2010.
By September the happy loving couple was back in the U.S. She was pregnant and within two months they were married at the Pru.
