BOSTON (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - Newly released records show that the leader of a publicly funded nonprofit was given a $20,000 pay increase in July 2011.
The Boston Herald reported the payroll information from the Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy on Thursday.
According to the newspaper, six of the nearly three dozen Greenway employees make six figures.
Executive director Nancy Brennan’s pay increased to a whopping $185,000 in July.
Brennan also has a benefits package that includes four weeks paid vacation every year, according to the Herald. She is additionally eligible for two more weeks per year.
The Conservancy is responsible for preserving Boston's parks. State officials recently accused the organization of failing to disclose how they were spending their funds. Nearly half of their funds come from the state.
