Hurricane Earl gets in the way of wedding

SANDWICH (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A local couple’s wedding time had to be moved up ahead of Hurricane Earl's arrival off the state's coast.

The couple was supposed to be getting married noon today at Heritage Museums and Gardens in Sandwich with the reception in Falmouth. But now, the wedding had to be moved up six hours.

Hurricane Earl is expected to skirt the state tonight. Nantucket and Cape Cod could get the brunt of the storm, which has turned slightly to the east and weakened somewhat, but is still expected to wallop the New England coast.

Meanwhile, Massachusetts remains under a state of emergency.
