Inmate escapes from New Hampshire prison

The search is on for an inmate who escaped from a New Hampshire prison.

Robert Hale III, a pre-trial inmate at the Sullivan County Department of Corrections, escaped from custody today between 1:45 a.m. and 2:40 a.m.

Hale was an inmate at the jail since March 22 and was being held on $50,000 cash bail out of Sullivan Superior Court pending a trial for armed robbery.

Hale is a white male, 45 years of age, 6’0” and weighs between 160 -170 lbs. He has graying- brown hair, brown eyes and is fair skinned. He was last seen wearing an orange T-shirt. His last place of residence was in the Claremont area.
