A Maine teenager who was missing was found late last night trapped in her car at the bottom of a ravine.
Police and members of the public had searched for Kourtney Thibeault, 17, since she was reported missing Thursday morning. She had driven to a class in Auburn the day before and last communicated with her father by cell phone at about 11:30 p.m. that night
Police searched the roads between Auburn and Topsham where they found tire marks in the grass leading toward a steep ravine, and 40 feet down into the ravine was the Ford Explorer Thibeault had been driving.
When police got to the car they found the teen trapped inside, but she was alert and talking.
The Topsham Fire Department pulled her from the car and took her to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston.
