Man killed in Andover motorcycle crash

ANDOVER (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Woburn man died of injuries he sustained in a motorcycle accident last night in Andover, state police said.

The crash happened at about 10:30 p.m. on Route 93 north, just north of Route 495.

Preliminary investigation by Trooper Jeremy Sweeney indicates the 2006 Honda CBR 600 motorcycle being driven by 22-year-old Joseph McInnis was traveling on Route 93 north when he lost control and crashed before coming to rest in the median.

McInnis was taken to Lawrence General Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The crash remains under investigation.
