Man pleads not guilty to attempted rape of jogger

WOBURN (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Malden man was in court today accused of attacking a teenage jogger over the weekend.

22-year-old Yuri Mikalixen plead not guilty to several charges including assault with intent to rape and kidnapping.

Authorities say the alleged victim was jogging near the Lynn Fells Parkway in Stoneham when she was attacked.

Mikalixen is being held without bail and will be back in court next week for a dangerousness hearing.
