ROCHESTER, NH (FOX25, myfoxboston) - Rochester Police responded to the power lines on Sampson road for a reported “grow” of Marijuana at 10:41hrs on this date. An undisclosed amount of plants were recovered which were enough to fill half the bed of a small pick up truck. The plants ranged in size from 4-6ft tall. The Marijuana is estimated to have a street value of approximately $9,000.00.
The plants were discovered by property owners who were clearing brush from a septic system about 300 yards off the roadway. Once discovering the illegal plants they notified police. No arrests have been made at this time.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Rochester Crimeline at 335-6500 or Rochester Police Department at 330-7128. Crimeline gives monetary awards for information leading to a conviction of up to $1,000.00. People can chose remain anonymous.
