Murder in Dorchester has police searching for suspects

DORCHESTER, Mass. (FOX25, myfoxboston) - Police are actively investigating a murder that occurred in Dorchester yesterday.

At around 7:25 P.M. police responded to a residence on Draper St. where there was a report of a person who had been shot. The victim, Benjamin Martins, 30, was transported to Boston Medical Center where he was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound to the head.

There have been no arrests in this investigation. Police are searching for two black men who were observed fleeing the crime scene towards Mt. Ida Rd.
