Naked clammer arrested in Hyannis

HYANNIS (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A man was arrested after he was spotted clamming only knee-deep in water in Hyannis on Friday afternoon.

Savery Antone, 38, of Falmouth, was arrested for open and gross lewdness after a neighbor called police. Antone was allgedly wading in two feet of water off Harbor Bluff Road.

The Cape Cod Times reports that when police arrived, they saw Antone and a male friend about 35 feet offshore in the shallow water. He was arrested after police noted his slurred speech.
