N.H. soldier Marc Paul Decoteau killed in Afghanistan

WATERVILLE VALLEY, N.H. - A 19-year-old Army solider from New Hampshire has been killed in Afghanisten.

The Union Leader reports PFC Marc Paul Decoteau, of Waterville Valley, was killed on Friday.

Decoteau enlisted in the Army after graduating in 2008, and was stationed in Afghanistan as part of a Psychological Operations unit, according to the newspaper.

Decoteau played high school lacrosse and football at Plymouth. His father is the town manager of Waterville Valley, a town with about 300 year-round residents.
