Police are hoping two surveillance photographs of a New Hampshire man who went missing near Faneuil Hall almost six months ago will help bring closure to his family.
Eugene Losik, 25, was reported missing on Feb. 20 after he and a friend parted ways in front of the Marriott Long Wharf hotel, where Losik was staying.
Losik had walked around Faneuil Hall for about 30 minutes before returning to the hotel at about 1:30 a.m. the morning of Feb. 20.
His friend reports that he hailed a taxi to head home and last saw Mr. Losik standing in front of the hotel. According to the police report, the friend assumed that Eugene was planning to head back to his hotel room.
In the morning, Losik’s girlfriend woke to realize that he had not returned to the hotel room. She reports that she made numerous calls to family, friends, local hospitals and police stations to no avail.
At the time of his disappearance, Mr. Losik is described as a white male, wearing a black mid-length jacket, grey T-shirt, blue jeans and black dress shoes.
Losik's friends and family have created a website and a Facebook page dedicated to the search:
