SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. (FOX25, myfoxboston) - School officials in South Hadley say a small group of students who were suspended after their apparent bullying led to the suicide of a high school classmate could be expelled or criminally charged.
The superintendent says disciplinary hearings are ongoing but the process could take two to three weeks.
The students will have the right to appeal.
The group is accused of bullying 15-year-old Phoebe Prince, which police believe lead to her suicide.
