Students charged with trying to poison teacher

    Police say three middle school students have been charged after they allegedly tried to poison their teacher with cleaning solution.

    A teacher at Waltham McDevitt Middle School reported her water bottle had been tampered with on the morning of Nov. 12.

    Police say two students placed a cleaning solvent into the bottle. Police did not say how the other child was involved.

    The three students are ages 12 and 13. They have been charged with one count of attempted poisoning.
