TRURO (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A Cape Cod couple was arrested after police say they found a coyote in their Truro home.
Officers went to the Quail Ridge Road home of Amy Previe and Wayne Martin on Tuesday for suspicion of cruelty to animals.
Officers found a coyote in a cage in an apartment above a detached garage. They say it had been living there for some time.
The coyote was tranquilized and removed from the home.
Previe and Martin have been charged with cruelty to an animal.
Officers found 19 rifles, shotguns, a handgun, and a pellet rifle of which they say all but one were not secured and locked.
Martin has been charged with 17 counts of storage of firearm without being properly locked.
