DURHAM, N.H. (FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - A female University of New Hampshire student reported being robbed on the walkway between Congreve and McLaughlin halls between 1 and 1:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, by an unknown male.
The victim was not injured and no further description of the suspect was provided.
The University of New Hampshire Police Department issued a campus crime alert in compliance with the Clery Act. The Clery Act is federal legislation that requires all colleges and universities with federal financial aid programs to keep and disclose information about campus crimes.
No similar incidents were reported to police.
Everyone in the campus community is urged to call 911 immediately upon observing anyone or anything suspicious. Anyone having any information about this incident or similar incidents should contact the University of New Hampshire Police Department at (603) 862-1427.
