BOSTON (FOX25, myfoxboston) - The family of a murdered paraplegic man is fighting the parole request of one of the men behind the killing.
Paul Rober Junior was murdered in a torturous seven-hour-long ordeal. Of the three people arrested, only one is still in jail for the crime, and now he wants his parole.
Kurt Klegler pleaded guilty to second degree murder and is serving life in prison with the chance at parole. Rober's brother is now fighting Klegler's parole request. He feels that Klegler is a sociopath who has no remorse for Paul's murder, and would offend again.
Klegler is the only one of the three still serving jail time.
Robert Wade confessed to the crime but his confession was thrown out by a judge. Six years later he was charged with raping and killing an elderly Lakeville woman.
Judith Amendola pleaded guilty as an accessory to murder in exchange for her testimony against Wade and Klegler and served six months.
