MA Alimony Laws: Close to Reform?

(FOX 25 / MyFoxBoston.com) - When it comes to paying up after a divorce, the alimony laws in Massachusetts have often been called outdated and maybe even unfair. Legislation at the Statehouse could change the way alimony works here.

In other states, alimony is a temporary thing. In Massachusetts, it can often last a lifetime.

We talked to Steve Hitner, the president of Mass. Alimony Reform, who has been working to get these laws changed.
