(NewsCore) - After bouts of public intoxication and apparent drug use, Amy Winehouse will contribute her first new vocal performance in years -- on a compilation CD celebrating the work of Quincy Jones, Billboard reported Wednesday.

She will contribute her own version of the 1963 hit "It's My Party" to the "Q: Soul Bossa Nostra" album. Usher and Jennifer Hudson will also provide tracks to the Quincy-inspired collection to be released in November.

While the 26-year-old found early success in the music industry as the first British artist to win five Grammys, the ’Rehab’ singer has battled with substance abuse that has included multiple arrests for drug possession and assault.

In December 2007, paparazzi snapped shots of an obviously disoriented Winehouse outside her London home barefoot and wearing only a bra and jeans.

A month later, photos circulated depicting a woman alleged to be Winehouse, apparently smoking crack cocaine and bragging about using ecstasy and valium.

"Each artist picked a song that resonated with them for different reasons," Jones said in a statement in March about the upcoming album.

"I am honored that everyone wanted to be a part of this celebration of these songs. They all made them their own and knocked them out of the park."
