BLAKE DIETRICK-WELLESLEY Hard to believe the 5'9 guard was only a sophomore this season. Dietrick was the driving force behind the Lady Raiders undefeated regular season. She averaged 16 points per game this season, helping Wellesley reach the D-2 south quarterfinals.
SYDNI SALVATORE- WALPOLE The 5'7 guard was the key ingredient in Walpole's impressive 18-5 season. The senior averaged 16 points per game this season leading the Lady Rebels to an upset of top seed Wellesley...along with a spot in the state semifinals at the Garden.
SHARI MARTINEZ-BRIGHTON In her senior season, no one was better in the Boston City League than Martinez. The 5'10 forward led the league in scoring, averaging 20 points per game, powering the Lady Bengals all the way to the BCL championship game.
JENNA RONCARATI-BISHOP FEEHAN The senior was the scoring machine behind Feehan’s trip to the 2009 state tournament. The forward averaged 19 points per game this season which ranked 2nd in the Eastern Athletic League, ultimately helping the Shamrocks finish with 15 wins this year.
NICOLE BOUDREAU-ANDOVER The Freshman of the Year award has to go to Boudreau. In just her first season in Andover, the 5'8 guard led the Lady Warriors in scoring with 18 points per game. Playing like a veteran all season long, Boudreau helped Andover grab a share of yet another Merrimack Valley Conference title.
MOLLY BREEN-MILLIS The junior forward was the driving force behind Millis' magical state championship this season. Scoring 16 points per game during the regular season, Breen shined when it mattered most, going for a game-high 28 points in the Lady Mohawks state title game win over Georgetown.
CHRISTINE GANSER-NEEDHAM The Lady Rockets leading scorer, Ganser averaged 20 points per game during her junior season in Needham. The 6'0 forward led Needham to a Bay State Carey Division title, as well as a spot in the D-1 South championship game.
KATIE ZENEVITCH-CENTRAL CATHOLIC At 6’3, Zenevitch dominated the Merrimack Valley as well as the D-1 state tournament this season. Averaging 18 points per game, the junior shined when it counted most, scoring 31 points during Central’s D-1 championship game win over Shepherd Hill.
TARA NIMKAR-SWAMPSCOTT When looking for a key in Swampscott's 2009 state title, look no further than the 5'9 Nimkar. The senior led big blue with 20 points per game this season, including a game-high 26 points in Swampscott's D-3 championship win.
BEATRICE ATKINSON-BROCKTON The senior led the Lady Boxers averaging 15 points per game this season, including 20 points during Brockton’s High School Friday win over New Bedford. The 5'5 guard was also the key to the Lady Boxer’s run all the way to the D-1 state semifinals.
