Shannon Mulaire is the co-host on FOX25 Morning News. Before joining the morning team she was the weekend anchor for "FOX25 News at 10:00 and 11:00" and served as a field reporter. Shannon joined the station in 2010 as a general assignment reporter.
Since arriving in Boston, Shannon has covered virtually every kind of story. From the tornadoes that ripped through Central and Western Massachusetts to the Bruins Stanley Cup win, Shannon brings viewers a clear take on developing and breaking news.
Before making her move to Boston, Shannon reported for WTVT in Tampa and WFTX in Fort Mayer, Florida. Shannon speaks Spanish and has spent time studying abroad in Mexico and Spain.
Shannon graduated from Wellesley College, double-majoring in Spanish, and cinema and media studies. She later went on to earn a Master's in broadcast journalism from Emerson College, where she received the departmental award for excellence.
In her four years in Florida, Shannon covered everything from political campaigns to monkeys on the loose. Working in Florida was a fantastic experience but Shannon couldn't be more thrilled to be back in Boston where the seasons change and she can eat some lobster with friends and family.
In her spare time, Shannon enjoys playing post collegiate soccer, reading, watching movies and trying new restaurants with her husband Randy.
