I have always wanted to be a tv news reporter, so I am blessed to be living my dream! I have produced, edited, anchored, reported and even driven a big news truck! Detroit is the fifth stop in my tv news career. I started in Dayton, Ohio, then I was off to Elmira, which is in upstate New York. A great opportunity brought me back to Dayton, from there I moved on to Kansas City, Missouri. My last stop...The Motor City!
Since I started at Fox 2, I have been able to tell some incredible stories. I am proud to say I have won many awards throughout my journey, but nothing means more than the people I meet who help me bring their stories to life. Like Casmir Werda, a fearless and brave soldier who was blinded in battle, and the families who trust me to memorialize their loved ones.
It's always great to get feedback from viewers who like my work. It's when they find out where I went to college that sometimes makes them cringe. I am a proud graduate of The Ohio State University. I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated, Theta Chapter. I was born in Cleveland and raised in Cleveland Heights so I am a Buckeye through and through! Living in Michigan makes the rivalry even sweeter!
As many of you know, I have had a host of hairstyles here in Detroit. I think I've settled on the pixie cut! I've had lots of fun getting your emails about each and every hairdo!
