Report: Bush Thought Military Shot Down Pennsylvania Plane on 9/11

The Drudge Report has reported on exclusive details of the book former president George W. Bush is set to release next month.

One of the details released in the report is that President Bush gave the order to shoot down planes on September 11 -- and at first thought the plane that went into a rural field in Shanksville, Penn. had been shot down. The 9/11 chapter is titled "Day of Fire."

Decision Points is set for a November 9 release but the Drudge Report apparently was leaked a copy.

It reports that the book starts with a chapter on President Bush's decision to quit drinking.

The book is described as a "strikingly personal work" and it apparently does not attack his critics.

President Bush will reportedly mark the launch of the book with an appearance on Oprah.
