The shape of Cape Cod is proving to be problematic once again this weekend for some more dolphins.
Crews took to the beach Sunday after four more dolphins became stranded on the sand in Wellfleet.
The animals were stuck on an area known as the gut. On Saturday, three others were stranded in Wellfleet as well, near Herring Cove.
One-hundred-twenty-two dolphins have been stuck on Cape Cod beaches since Jan. 12.
The International Fund for Animal Welfare briefed Congress on the issue last week.
Officials say the Cape's hook-like shape makes it a common place for strandings.
